In light of the Thanksgiving Holiday I picked a book about Thanksgiving, The Night Before Thanksgiving by Natasha Wing. This book has a creative spin on the Christmas classic 'Twas The Night Before Christmas. It shows how a family gets ready for the Thanksgiving holiday by greeting family members, making dinner and how they give thanks. This would be a great book to read to your students before they leave for Thanksgiving break.
